DogMa Pack May Peemail

Hey Pack Parents!

“April Showers” – as well as April snow, hail and wind – came and went.Yay – May is at our front doorstop. That means swimming! And that Dog-Ma’s front garden that my human has been working on seems to be coming to fruition despite my digging in all the wrong places. Summer is right around the corner and all of the pools are in full effect. You can guarantee you’ll see me lounging poolside or sunbathing, and if I’m not doing that, I’m chasing around the pack with my best friends.

May Daycare & Boarding Schedules

Don’t forget to mail us your May daycare & boarding needs. Memorial Day (05/28) is a major holiday this month and we want to make sure that we can accommodate all of our pack’s needs. We are open on Memorial Day on shortened holiday hours – that is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If your dog is scheduled normally for Monday, please keep in mind of the shortened hours that day and let us know if you would like to replace it with a different normal-13-hour-day instead.

Boarding over the major holiday is $65.00 per night, but fret not – if you are a regularly pre-scheduled daycare client that scheduled before the 8th of every month, that means the holiday rate will not apply and you get to keep the normally priced $58.00 boarding rate. Space is filling up fast, so contact us soon to get on the books! The next major holiday coming up is in July. DogMa is a bit of a safe haven when fireworks are around – so you know my fuzzy butt will spend a few nights there, keeping it chill with my pack humans and canines alike.
DogMa Events in May!

Warm weather means dog-friendly events – my absolute favorite time of year! We’re kicking off May by attending the Running of the Chihuahua’s on this Saturday (05/05/18) at The Wharf. (I said, Wharf, not Woof!) All of the proceeds from the Chihuahua racing goes towards supporting Rural Dog Rescue. There are a lot of fun things and many great dogs to meet at this event – it is not Chihuahua specific (only the racing is). Then, during the following Saturday, we’ll be at the Day of the Dog (05/12/18) at Congressional Cemetery. We have a lot of fun at both events each year and we hope to see you there! Finally, the Friday following that event (that is 05/18), we will be hosting our first yappy hour of the season! Bring your dog and a friend with you to hang out with fellow packsters. Any dog that is not a current client must provide a current Rabies tag or certificate.

That’s all for now now!

Smell you later,

Izzy
