Welcome to the DogMa Community Partners page! We’re excited to collaborate with community organizations that extend the same love, care, and dedication to pups that our pack receives at DogMa. Below you will find links to shops, vets, dog parks, and other services we recommend. Be sure to mention that you’re a DogMa Pack Parent when you visit their business!
DogMa has partnered with Rural Dog Rescue and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to help out pups who need three squares, a bed and some love until they can get all four back on the floor.
We reserve two boarding spots each month for each rescue so they can place dogs in transition with us. Our four free rescue boarders get a place to decompress from bad situations, put on a few pounds, have light-hearted play with other pups and experience positive associations with humans. By teaching our rescue pups the skills for city life through slow desensitization to urban noise, proper off-leash neighborly greetings, crate training, name recognition and basic leash manners and obedience, we help them be more successful when they go to a foster or forever home. Every month we donate hundreds of dollars of our boarding and daycare services to these two organizations.
In addition to our rescue boarders, we also try to make it easier for you humans to help foster rescue dogs. We offer free daycare services to the dogs in Rural Dog and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue so that a wider range of people can open their house or apartment to foster one of these cool companions. Daycare helps to tire out anxious dogs, creates good socialization opportunities and also makes it easier for a foster to go out and not worry about their foster pup getting too lonely or into mischief at home.
