Extended Hours & Upcoming Events

barktoberfest

Hey Packsters!

We wanted to share some very exciting news with you and didn’t want to wait until October’s peemail from Izzy to share it. Many have asked and we have listened, and we are proud to announce — DogMa is extending its hours! The office will no longer close at 7 PM, but instead the hours have been extended to 8 PM during the Monday – Friday work week. We also will opening at 6:30 AM instead of 7 AM — which is also during the work week; the weekend hours will remain the same for now. The best part — you don’t have to wait for the time change — these new hours are now in effect! We hope you will find this new time extension helpful and appreciate any feedback that you would like to share with us.

H Street Festival This Weekend

Don’t forget, the 10th Annual H St Festival is this Saturday! It starts at 12 PM and will last all afternoon. It’s a great event that has over 100,000 attendees and DogMa is proud to have its very own booth this year. We will have paw-painting, doggy portraits, a hide-a-treat game, and of course tons of free swag. We will also have a raffle for a 16″ x 20″ personalized, textured, doggie portrait designed by Reggie Gillumo, part of District Canvas. All proceeds will support Rural Dog Rescue. This event is very loud, so make sure to only bring your pup for a portion of the time, and only if they are comfortable around large crowds and loud noise.

The 4th Annual Wiener 500 at ParktoberfestFinally, if you’re not too tired from this Saturday’s festivities, next Saturday the 26th is On Tap Magazine’s 4th Annual Wiener 500 race. It is in Yards Park and is from 1 – 5 PM. It’s lots of fun and all well socialized dogs are welcome and encouraged to come. We will not be hosting a table this year, but we hope to see you there! All procedes will help animals in need at the Washington Humane Society.
