Happy October Pack Parents!
Howl-o-weenie is coming up at the end of the month and as a kindawolfie looking dog who is happy to wear horns on trick-or-treat night, I can’t wait! Dogma has a few fall events we are attending and hosting this month, so sit back, grab your closest pup, sip or munch on pumpkin spice and read over my short monthly Peemail to find out more.
October Daycare & Boarding Schedules
Please remember to send my human office pack mates your daycare and boarding schedules for October. If you pre-schedule your daycare for the month no later than the 8th, you will qualify for Paw Points ($2 credit for each daycare day scheduled and used – which can then be redeemed the following month). While there aren’t any major holidays this month, don’t forget that Thanksgiving is next month and then the Decemberholidayorama. We always sell out for boarding for these holidays – it must be from all of the extra snuggles we get! What I’m saying here is that it’s never to early to start planning and book your holiday boarding reservations.
DogMa October Events
We hope to see you at the 6th Annual Wiener 500 this Saturday (tomorrow!). The racing dachshunds contestants are ready to go and 100% of the entry proceeds will be donated to the Humane Rescue Alliance. All dog breeds and humans are welcome to come dance, laugh, and drink – so come visit, support a great community event and have fun. It’s going to be GORGEOUS tomorrow. We’re also having our Puppy Play Socialization Class tomorrow – from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. If you haven’t already, send us an e-mail to RSVP for the class.
We also have two
Yappy Hours coming up – the next one is
next Friday, the 6th. Come visit us, have a drink and meet some of our staff and some of your pack. Bring a friend – we can sniff butts! It will take place from
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The following
Yappy Hour will be our last until spring – so be sure to keep current on our events by liking us on
Facebook and following us on
Instagram. Plus, if you sign up, you’ll get to see tons of cute pack photos and live feed from time to time.
There is also a fun Howl-o-
ween dog costume contest towards the end of this month at Lincoln Park, supporting Rural Dog Rescue.
DogMa will be a part of the judging panel and we can’t be more excited! This event has
proven to be tons of fun in the past, so get ready for a great time. Check in on
their Facebook page for more details.
That’s all for now – looking forward to the cooler fall weather, for real this time!
